Ermenegildo Zegna has partnered with Daniel Bailey, founder of innovative footwear brand MRBAILEY®, to launch the new Triple Stitch™ collaborative sneakers. Led by Zegna’s Artistic Director Alessandro Sartori, this collaboration explores the boundaries between modern structure and footwear aesthetics, creating a fashion masterpiece that integrates luxury, innovation, and comfort.
This sneaker features a low-top Triple Stitch™ silhouette. The upper is crafted from premium suede, with a “yakisugi” (charred cedar) texture pattern created via heat pressing, showcasing exquisite craftsmanship. It is paired with an “X”-shaped cage-like instep structure made of die-cast rubber, combined with a drawstring lacing system and elastic buckle to enhance wrap-around fit, accommodating various foot shapes and adapting effortlessly to fast-paced urban life.
The shoe structure adopts triple-layer calfskin bonding and hand-painted edge techniques, highlighting the unique charm of Zegna’s tailoring craftsmanship. The tongue and heel are cleverly designed with easy-on/off features, and a hidden 4cm height-increasing insole is built-in, elevating posture without any sense of burden. The high-elastic Lycra lining and ultra-light foam rubber outsole balance lightness, breathability, and wearing stability.
